West End Man Charged Over Multiple Thefts and Vehicle Offences Across Southampton Area

A 24 year old man from West End has been charged with multiple offences following incidents in West End, Hedge End, and Southampton.

Jamie William Gerald Davis, of Creedy Gardens, has been charged with vehicle interference, attempted theft from a motor vehicle, and two counts of shoplifting.

Davis appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 11 November) in connection with:
• Vehicle interference on Arun Road, West End, on Saturday 1 November
• Attempted theft from a vehicle on Midlands Estate, West End, on Saturday 1 November
• Shoplifting from Sainsbury’s, Tollbar Way, Hedge End, on Tuesday 29 July

For a separate shoplifting incident at Tesco Express, Witts Hill, Southampton, on Friday 31 October, Davis has been bailed to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 22 January 2026.

Police continue to urge residents to report suspicious activity to help keep the community safe.
