Watch and Jewellery Box Recovered After Southampton Break-In
A man has been charged in connection with a burglary at a home in Southampton, in which sentimental items were stolen.
The incident occurred sometime between 19 and 22 September at a property on Cobden Crescent. A watch and a jewellery box, both of sentimental value, were reported stolen.
As part of their investigation, officers conducted searches in the area surrounding Cobden Crescent today (8 October). During the operation, they recovered the alleged stolen items, which are now due to be returned to their rightful owner.
Macauley Bowers, 28, of International Way, Southampton, has been charged with burglary in relation to the incident.
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court earlier today, where he was remanded in custody. Bowers is next due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on 5 November.
