Police Seek Woman in Connection with £616 Hedge End Shoplifting
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has released a CCTV image as part of an ongoing investigation into a reported shoplifting at the Next store on Charles Watts Way, Hedge End.
The incident took place between 6:55pm and 7:15pm on Monday, 6 October, during which approximately £616 worth of children’s clothes and shoes were reported stolen.
Police have described the woman they wish to speak to as:
• White, around 35 years old
• Approximately 5 ft 6 ins tall
• Blonde hair with dark roots
• Wearing a black open-front T-shirt, printed leggings, and white trainers
Officers are appealing for anyone who recognises the woman, or who has information about the incident, to come forward. They are also asking anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area, or who has CCTV, mobile phone, or dashcam footage that could assist the investigation, to get in touch.

Police stress that the woman in the image may be able to assist with the investigation and urge her, or anyone who knows her identity, to contact them.
