Police Release CCTV Images After £300 Worth of Coffee Stolen from Hedge End Co-op
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary have released CCTV images as part of an ongoing investigation into a shoplifting incident that occurred at a Co-op store in Hedge End earlier this summer.
The incident took place at the Co-op on Lower Northam Road between 6:45pm and 6:50pm on Tuesday, 3 June. According to police reports, approximately £300 worth of coffee was stolen during the short window of time.
Officers are now appealing to the public for help in identifying a man seen on CCTV who they believe could assist with their enquiries.
“We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation,” a police spokesperson said. “We urge him, or anyone who recognises him, to get in touch with us.”
Police are also calling on anyone who may have witnessed the incident or noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to come forward. Additionally, residents and businesses nearby are being asked to check any CCTV, dash cam, or mobile phone footage that may be relevant.
