Pennington Man Charged with Assault Following Efford Way Incident

A 29 year old man from Pennington has been charged with two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH) following an incident earlier this month.

Joe Chamberlain, of Meadow Road, appeared before Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 10 July, where he faced the charges in connection with a reported incident at a property on Efford Way, Pennington, on Wednesday, 2 July.

Chamberlain was remanded in custody following the hearing and is due to appear again at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 16 July.
