Over £1,000 in Clothing Stolen from Cotswold Outdoor – Police Release CCTV Images

Hampshire Police are appealing for information after more than £1,000 worth of clothing was stolen during two separate incidents at a Cotswold Outdoor store in Hedge End.

The thefts occurred at the retailer’s branch on Lower Northam Road, first on Saturday, 26 July, and again on Tuesday, 29 July. During the second incident, a staff member was reportedly threatened by the suspect.

The stolen items include high-value clothing from the popular outdoor brand The North Face.

As part of their ongoing investigation, police have released CCTV images of a man they believe could have information relevant to the case. Officers are urging the individual, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.

The man is described as:
• Mixed race
• Aged between 20 and 25
• Approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall
• Of a skinny build
• With short, fuzzy dark hair

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said:

“We believe the man can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.”
