Millbrook Road West Reopens After Early Morning Collision – Driver Arrested on Suspicion of Drink Driving

Millbrook Road West has now reopened following a single-vehicle collision early this morning that led to temporary road closures and an arrest.

Hampshire Police were called just after 6:00am on Sunday, 6 July, to reports of a Mercedes colliding with the roadside barriers on Millbrook Road West. Emergency services responded swiftly, and the road was closed while the scene was made safe.

Three female passengers in the vehicle were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the car, a 21 year old woman from Sway, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving.

Police have confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the incident. The road has since been cleared and fully reopened to traffic.

Hampshire Police thanked the public for their patience during the disruption.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
