Man Sought Following Racial Abuse and Indecent Exposure in Southampton

Hampshire Police are appealing for information following an indecent exposure incident that took place outside a Tesco store in central Southampton this morning (23 August).

The incident occurred at 10.20am at the Tesco store on London Road. According to police reports, a man entered the store and began making aggressive and racially abusive comments toward members of staff.

After leaving the premises, the same man proceeded to pull down his trousers and underwear in full view of the public, deliberately exposing his bare buttocks.

Officers have launched an investigation and are now seeking help from the public to identify a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident. An image of the man has been released as part of the appeal.

This was a disturbing incident that understandably left staff and members of the public feeling distressed. Hampshire Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or recognises the man pictured.
