Man Seriously Assaulted in Harestock Road Rage Incident
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered serious facial injuries during an assault in Harestock, Winchester.
The incident happened at around 4pm on Sunday 8 February in the Priors Dean Road or Harestock Road area.
A 26-year-old man, who had been driving a white Volkswagen estate, was out of his vehicle and standing in the road when he was assaulted by the passenger of a silver Volkswagen Golf. During the altercation, the victim was punched multiple times.
He sustained a fractured eye socket as a result of the attack.
The suspect is described as white, around 5ft 7ins tall, with a muscular build. He had very short strawberry blond hair, a short ginger beard and a full neck tattoo covering the sides and back of his neck. He was wearing a short-sleeved top and trousers at the time.
Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have captured footage on dash cam in the area at the time, to come forward.
