Man Charged With Four Shoplifting Offences in Eastleigh

A 39-year-old man from Southampton has been charged with four counts of shoplifting following a series of reported thefts in Eastleigh.

Martyn Paul Goddard, of Millbrook Road, has been charged in connection with incidents at Tesco Express in the Swan Centre.

The charges relate to reported thefts of alcohol with a combined value of £588. The incidents are reported to have taken place on Friday 6 February, Tuesday 10 February, Thursday 12 February and Friday 13 February.

Goddard is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 16 February).
