CCTV Images Released in West End Shoplifting Investigation
Police have released CCTV images of three women they wish to speak to in connection with a shoplifting incident at a retail store in West End.
The incident occurred between 3:25pm and 3:30pm on Tuesday, 20 May 2025, at Community Hatch, located on the High Street. According to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary, over £100 worth of items were reported stolen, including clothing, shoes, and a Joules handbag.
Hampshire Police have described the three women they wish to identify as follows:
• Woman 1: White, late 20s, approximately 5ft 5ins tall, medium build, with long dark hair tied back.
• Woman 2: Aged in her 30s, around 5ft 4ins tall, with bleached blonde hair.
• Woman 3: Aged in her mid-50s, approximately 5ft 4ins tall, with blonde hair showing signs of greying.
Police believe the women captured in the CCTV footage may have vital information that could assist their ongoing investigation. They are urging the individuals themselves—or anyone who recognises them—to come forward.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or has any CCTV, mobile phone, dashcam or doorbell footage that may be relevant, is asked to contact police.
