CCTV Images Released After £100 Meat Theft at Hedge End Co-op

Police have now released CCTV images as part of an investigation into a shoplifting incident at the Co-op store on Lower Northam Road, Hedge End.

The incident took place between 7.15am and 7.20am on Thursday, 21 August, when around £100 worth of meat was reportedly stolen from the shop.

Officers are now appealing for information to help identify a man they believe could assist with their enquiries. He is described as white, approximately 50 years old, around 5ft 6ins tall, bald, and was wearing a red jacket with blue trousers at the time of the incident.

A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson said:

“We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.

If you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area, or have any CCTV, mobile phone or dash cam footage that could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
