CCTV Image Released in Hedge End Shoplifting Investigation

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman they wish to identify following a shoplifting incident at Sainsbury’s in Tollbar Way, Hedge End.

The theft occurred between 4.35pm and 4.45pm on 27 September, during which around £550 worth of E45 skincare and Nicorette products were reportedly stolen.

Officers are appealing for information and are keen to speak with the woman pictured, who may be able to assist with ongoing enquiries. She is described as white, of large build, approximately 5ft 4ins tall, and around 30 years old. She had slightly curly black hair tied back into a ponytail and was wearing a long-sleeved, thigh-length woollen cardigan, a green and white floral-patterned stretchy top and bottoms, and white sandals.

Police are urging anyone who recognises the woman, witnessed the incident, or has relevant CCTV, mobile phone, or dash cam footage to come forward. Information can be reported by calling 101 or via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting incident number 44250443482.
