Appeal to identify man following shoplifting in Chandlers Ford

Police have issued a CCTV appeal after a reported shoplifting incident at a Co-op store in Chandlers Ford.

Officers would like to speak to a man in connection with the incident, which took place at the Co-op on Winchester Road between 7.45pm and 7.50pm on Wednesday 14 January.

It was reported that several items were stolen during the incident, including eight steaks.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary believes the man shown in released images may be able to assist with their investigation and is urging him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.

Police are also appealing for witnesses who were in the area at the time, or anyone who saw anything suspicious, to get in touch.
