Appeal Launched After Indecent Exposure Incident in Totton

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary is appealing for information following an incident of indecent exposure reported in Totton earlier this week.

The incident occurred between 6.25pm and 6.28pm on Tuesday, 16 September, near Testwood Recreation Ground — a popular public space often busy in the early evening.

According to police reports, a man is reported to have indecently exposed himself in the area. Officers are now seeking to identify and speak with the individual believed to be involved.

The man is described as:
• White
• Aged in his late 40s to early 50s
• Balding
• Wearing a jacket featuring a skeleton pattern
• Carrying a bag

Police believe that due to the time of day and location, there may have been numerous witnesses who either saw the incident or noticed someone matching the description.

“We’d like to hear from anyone who saw a man matching the above description,” a police spokesperson said. “If you witnessed anything of the incident, or think you know the identity of this man, please get in touch with us at the earliest opportunity.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 44250420014.

Alternatively, witnesses can report details online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website.
