Appeal for witnesses after motorbike stolen in Micheldever burglary

Police are appealing for information after a motorbike and power tools were stolen during a burglary in Micheldever.

The incident happened between 10pm and 11.30pm on 31 January at an address on London Road, where offenders stole a Husqvarna TE 250i motorbike.

A chainsaw and strimmer, both believed to be made by Stihl, were also taken during the burglary.

Officers say they have carried out a number of enquiries and are now asking members of the public to come forward with any information that could assist the investigation.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the distinctive motorbike being ridden or transported in the area that evening, or who has spotted it advertised for sale since the theft. They are also urging residents to report any suspicious activity or offers of power tools matching the description.

Anyone with information about the burglary or the stolen items is asked to call 101 quoting reference 44260054494. Information can also be submitted online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website.
