Appeal for Witnesses After Burglary at Tilley’s Bakery in Hythe
Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a burglary at Tilley’s Bakery in Hythe town centre during the early hours of this morning.
Officers say the incident is believed to have taken place between 2am and 3am on Friday, 17 October, when the popular local bakery was broken into.
Sergeant Wilshere, from the Waterside Neighbourhood Policing Team, attended the scene and confirmed that enquiries are ongoing. Police are reviewing CCTV and speaking with nearby businesses as part of their investigation.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have been in the Hythe town centre area around the time of the incident to come forward. They are particularly keen to hear from drivers who may have dash cam footage from between 2am and 3am, or anyone who noticed suspicious behaviour in the area in the days leading up to the break-in.
