Appeal for Information Following Criminal Damage in Southampton

Police are appealing to the public for help in identifying a man they wish to speak to in connection with a reported incident of criminal damage in Southampton.

The incident occurred between 5.10pm and 5.30pm on Friday, 12 September, on Wolseley Road, where the window of a parked vehicle was smashed.

As part of their ongoing investigation, officers have released an image of a man they believe may have information that could assist with their enquiries. The man was seen in the area at the time of the incident and is believed to have been accompanied by a woman with blonde hair, wearing a blue top and blue jogging bottoms.

Police are urging the man, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.

“We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us,” a spokesperson for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary said.

Members of the public are also being asked to check any CCTV, mobile phone, or dash cam footage taken in the area around the time of the incident, in case it contains anything that could help with the investigation.
