CCTV Image Released Following Early-Morning Burglary in Thornhill

Police are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man they would like to speak to in connection with a reported burglary in Thornhill.

The incident is believed to have taken place between 2.50am and 3.10am on Thursday 26 February, when it’s reported that entry was forced into a garage at a property on Birch Wood.

According to reports, approximately £280 worth of tools were stolen during the break-in, including a drill, a jigsaw and a drone. In addition, around £100 worth of meat was reportedly taken from a freezer inside the garage.

Officers have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries. He is described as white, of slim build, and was seen wearing a puffer jacket, gloves, a hooded top, jeans, and a balaclava covering his face.

Police are urging the individual pictured, or anyone who recognises him or has information about the incident, to come forward.
