Appeal for witnesses and dash cam footage after serious collision in Hythe

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a serious crash in Hythe on Saturday evening.

Officers were called just after 7pm yesterday (7 March) to reports of a collision on Southampton Road.

A grey Volkswagen T‑Roc was travelling north when it left the carriageway. The driver, a woman in her 50s, suffered serious injuries and is currently being treated in hospital.

Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or saw the vehicle in the moments leading up to the collision, to come forward.

Officers are also asking motorists who may have been in the area at the time to check their dash cam footage in case it captured anything that could assist the investigation.
