Vehicles and Caravans Removed from Weston Parade Following Community Concerns

This morning, officers from the Peartree and Woolston Neighbourhood Policing Team worked alongside Southampton City Council on Weston Shore to remove several vehicles and caravans that had been obstructing the roadside along Weston Parade.

The action followed numerous reports from local residents regarding anti-social behaviour and disturbances linked to the vehicles. After consulting with the community, authorities proceeded with the planned clear-up operation.

According to police, the removals were carried out smoothly and without incident, and all vehicles were safely taken away.

During the operation, officers also seized an additional vehicle under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 after discovering it had no valid insurance while parked on a public road.

The initiative aims to improve safety and restore peace for residents along Weston Parade.
