Two Men Sought After Theft and Fraud at Eastleigh Hotel and Asda
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary is seeking the public’s help to identify two men in connection with a theft and subsequent fraud in Eastleigh.
The incident took place at around 9:30am on Wednesday, 3 December, at the Village Hotel on Bournemouth Road, Eastleigh. Police say an unknown man stole a wallet from a bag at the hotel.
Shortly afterwards, the man, along with a second man, used the stolen bank cards to withdraw money from an ATM and make purchases at the nearby Asda store on Bournemouth Road. The total value of money withdrawn and items purchased is reported to be £1,700.
Police have released images of the men and are urging anyone who recognises them to come forward.
