Police Release CCTV Images in Hedge End Shoplifting Investigation
Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a reported shoplifting incident at the Co-op store on Lower Northam Road, Hedge End.
The incident took place between 1.05pm and 1.15pm on Friday, 29 August, when approximately £200 worth of steak and other items were stolen from the shop.
Officers are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man seen in the store around the time of the theft. He is described as white, aged in his mid-30s, around 5ft 6ins tall, and was wearing a blue jacket and baseball cap.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said:
“We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who recognises him, to get in touch. We would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV, dashcam, or mobile phone footage from the area at the time.”
