Cyclist Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries After E-Bike Crash in Southampton

A man has been left with life-threatening injuries following a serious electric bike crash on Portsmouth Road in Southampton.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 8pm yesterday evening, Friday, 27 June, after a 29 year old man came off an electric bike. He was taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition receiving treatment.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident or captured it on dashcam footage.
Hampshire Constabulary are working to establish the full circumstances of this collision and are urging anyone who was in the area at the time to contact them. Any information, no matter how small it may seem, could assist the investigation.
