CCTV Released Following Bike Theft at Totton Supermarket

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary are appealing for information following the theft of a bicycle from the staff bike store at the Asda supermarket on Maynard Road, Totton.

The incident occurred at around 3.25pm on Saturday, 6 September, when a grey Carrera Sulcata mountain bike was reported stolen. Officers are now seeking to identify a man captured on CCTV at the time of the incident, who they believe may have vital information that could assist with their investigation.

The man was seen in the company of another individual during the theft, and police are urging him — or anyone who recognises him — to come forward.

“We would like to speak to the man in this image as we believe he may be able to help with our investigation,” a police spokesperson said. “If you recognise him, or have any relevant information, please get in touch with us.”

Witnesses and Information Sought

Police are also appealing to any members of the public who may have:
• Witnessed suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident
• CCTV or doorbell footage
• Mobile phone or dash cam recordings from nearby roads or premises
