Appeal Issued for Information After Hit-and-Run at Peartree Avenue/Sholing Road in Southampton
Police are appealing for witnesses after a moped rider was injured in a hit-and-run collision in Southampton shortly after midnight on Friday, 28 November.
Officers were called to the roundabout at Peartree Avenue and Sholing Road following reports of a collision involving a moped and a white van. The van failed to stop at the scene.
The moped rider, a man in his 20s, suffered a fractured ankle and later attended hospital for treatment.
Investigators are now working to identify the driver of the white van believed to have been involved. They are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have relevant dash-cam, doorbell or CCTV footage, to come forward.
