Arrest Made After Reported Burglary at Residential Address

A man has been arrested following a reported burglary at a property on Beech Crescent earlier this week.

Officers detained a 34-year-old man from Hythe on Thursday evening (5 March) on suspicion of dwelling burglary. He remains in police custody while enquiries continue.

The arrest relates to an incident on Tuesday afternoon, when it was reported that a man entered a residential address on Beech Crescent and stole a purse containing cash.

Police say investigations into the incident remain ongoing.
