Man charged with three shoplifting offences in Hythe
A 25-year-old man from Hythe has been charged with three shoplifting offences following a series of reported thefts at local stores.
Daniel Laville, of Tormead, has also been charged with obstructing or resisting a constable in the execution of their duty, police said.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before magistrates at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 12 March.
The charges relate to reported thefts at the Waitrose on High Street in Hythe on Friday, 6 March and Tuesday, 10 March, as well as an incident at the Tesco Express in nearby Dibden Purlieu on Saturday, 7 March.
