Appeal After Lamb Chops Stolen From Holbury Post Office
Police have issued an appeal for information after a shoplifting incident at a post office in Holbury in which meat, including lamb chops, was reportedly stolen.
Officers from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary say they would like to speak to a man and a woman who may be able to assist with their investigation following the incident at the Post Office on Long Lane.
Description of the man
The man police want to speak to is described as:
• White
• In his mid-30s
• With short brown hair
• Unshaven
• Wearing grey trousers or jogging bottoms, a jacket and trainers with white soles
Police say he was travelling in a grey Ford Focus which had no front number plate.
Description of the woman
The man was reportedly with a woman described as:
• White
• Around 30 years old
• Approximately 5ft 6in tall
• Black hair tied up
• Wearing black and white trainers with white soles, leggings and a blue coat with a furry hood
• Carrying a cream-coloured bag
She was also believed to have been travelling in the same grey Ford Focus without a front number plate.
Police appeal for information
Officers believe the pair may be able to help with their enquiries and are urging them, or anyone who knows who they are, to come forward.
